Carry-on charging
Carry-on charging During my first professional trip in 2003, I carried two charges - for my windows laptop and Nokia phone. Fast forward to 2022, I did a couple of professional trips post covid and I carried 6 charger types for 11 gadgets. This was the reduced set of gadgets that I carried after shunning my ipad, PSP portable gaming console for my travels. I am not an early adopter of digital gadgets, and I am sure some folks would carry even more gadgets. This case highlights the user necessity for standardised chargers not only for personal computing and mobiles ( supporting the EU law ), but also for personal care items and future chargeable gadgets as well. There is a user need for this change, even beyond digital waste reduction, environmental friendliness and other reasons cited in support for the EU law.
